InFocus M310 review : another Xiaomi Hongmi (Red Rice) competitor.
InFocus M310 is the first of the M series models that comes equipped with the rather outdated MTK6589T. The new InFocus M310 flagship smartphone can be yours for only 799 Yuan ($130 ) and it is available for purchase in China since yesterday (20th December 2013), ahead of the big Christmas sale.
We can consider the InFocus M310 as another Xiaomi Hongmi (Red Rice) competitor , as the hardware configuration is nearly the same. The M310 has a 4.7 inches IPS screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 (HD) the CPU is a MTK6589T MediaTek clocked @ 1.5GHz (quad-core).
Besides that, it comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. As per the camera capabilities the Front Camera has 1.3 MP and the Rear one has over 8 MP (Auto-Focus, LED flash and F2.2 aperture ). Moreover, the battery capacity is bigger than the one found on the Red Rice – this is – up to 2450 mAh .
As per its connectivity capabilities the InFocus M310 supports both GSM and WCDMA frequencies with Dual Sim dual standby technology. OS is of course Android 4.2.1.
It is worth mentioning that the Infocus M310 looks like a Huawei Ascend P6 (check all the clones HERE) but its dimensions are 136 x 68 x 8.9mm looking pretty similar as the Xiaomi Red Rice which is 137 x 69 x 9.9mm. The M310 is 1 mm thinner compared with the Red Rice.
